FORT COLLINS, Colo. – The Heating, Ventilation, and Air Conditioning Program at Front Range Community College has earned reaccreditation from the Partnership for Air-Conditioning, Heating, Refrigeration Accreditation (PAHRA).
The reaccreditation means the program meets the instruction, curriculum, student, faculty, and facility standards set forth by PAHRA. PAHRA is a consortium of the following seven national industry associations: Air Conditioning Heating and Refrigeration Institute (AHRI), Air Conditioning Contractors of America (ACCA), North American Technician Excellence (NATE), Heating, Air Conditioning and Refrigeration Distributors International (HARDI), Council of Air Conditioning and Refrigeration Educators (CARE), Plumbing, Heating-Cooling Contractors Association (PHCC), and American Society of Heating, Refrigerating and Air-Conditioning Engineers (ASHRAE) .
FRCC’s Associate of Applied Science degree in HVAC and HVAC certificates all remain accredited for the next five years. The three certificates offered are Residential Air Conditioning and Heating, Light Commercial Air Conditioning and Heating, and Commercial Refrigeration.
