(Denver, CO) 100% of the 21 students who completed the practical nurse certificate program at Community College of Denver (CCD) in December successfully passed the NCLEX-PN Exam on the first try. All of these graduates are now licensed to practice as a Licensed Practical Nurse in Colorado.
NCLEX stands for The National Council Licensure Examination which is a standardized exam used by each state board of nursing to determine if candidates are competent for entry level nursing practice.
Community College of Denver offers the Nurse Aide program and Practical Nurse Program at the Center for Nursing on the Lowry Campus.
