Jeffrey Knight has been elected chairman of the board of directors of the Front Range Community College Foundation, and Darrell Perry has joined the board.
Knight is a territory manager for Oracle. He has more than 30 years experience in sales, marketing, and management in computing, storage, and e-commerce industries. His work has taken him to Europe, South America, Australia, and Asia. While with Sun Microsystems, Jeff developed key relationships with Brigham Young University, the University of Colorado, the University of Utah, the Center for High Performance Computing, and the Scientific and Computer Imaging Institute.
He has a Bachelor of Science in marketing and a Master of Business Administration from the University of Colorado.
Perry is retired from Ball Corporation, where he was director of beverage logistics. He has more than 30 years experience in corporate finance and accounting. He joined Ball Corporation in 1989 as plant controller in Conroe, Texas. Six years later, he became administrative manager there. He came to Ball’s headquarters in Broomfield in 2005 as director of contract, pricing, and administration.
Perry has a Bachelor of Science in accounting from Xavier University of Louisiana and a Master of Business Administration from Houston Baptist University.
FRCC is a member of the Colorado Community College System, the state’s largest system of higher education serving more than 151,000 students annually. CCCS oversees career and academic programs in the 13 state community colleges and career and technical programs in more than 160 school districts and seven other post-secondary institutions.
