The Arapahoe Community College Child Development Center (CDC) held its annual Thanksgiving Food Drive this fall in a continued effort to provide holiday meals for local families in need.
ACC's Child Development Center continues to provide holiday meals for those in need
In 2010, the CDC provided 68 families with a Thanksgiving meal, and the tradition continued in 2011. ACC students and employees donated $5 grocery gift cards, stuffing and cornbread, canned goods, pie crusts and filling, and various non-perishable goods to benefit the cause.
The event was coordinated by CDC Director Mary Foster, and the holiday food baskets will be distributed on Nov. 17-18.
