New Dean of Health Sciences at Community College of Denver

 (Denver, CO) Connie Strand has been named Dean of Health Sciences at Community College of Denver (CCD). Most recently Dean of Allied Health, Strand accepted the expanded position in December 2011. Strand has been with CCD since 1990, starting as faculty and progressing to campus director at CCD West, Associate Dean of CCD Southwest, Dean of Allied Health and now Dean of Health Sciences. Strand earned her Master of Business Administration (MBA) from Regis University in 2002. Health Sciences includes the nurse aide and practical nurse programs and Allied Health: dental hygiene, veterinary technology, radiology therapy and radiology sciences, medical office technology, health information technology, and emergency services. All are located at Lowry.
