Transfer Week at Community College of Denver

(Denver, CO.)  Transfer Week at Community College of Denver (CCD) is March 26-29, 2012. Designed for CCD students considering transferring to a four year college or university, Transfer Week provides a series of events and activities that provide information and answer questions about college transfer:

Majors Monday, March 26, 10a.m.–noon. This session discusses what majors are available at CCD and which programs have credits that are guaranteed to transfer to a State of Colorado four year school.

Trivia Talk Tuesday, March 27, 10.a.m.-noon.  Students learn more about student support services at CCD; programs that help students succeed.

WOW- Working on Wealth Wednesday, March 28, 10a.m.-noon. The CCD Career Development Center staff, alongside keynote speaker/musician Jeffrey Hughes, will provide insights on how to have a satisfying career, good income, and an effective community college experience.

Transfer Fair Thursday, March 29, 10:30a.m.-2:00 p.m. Recruiters from several colleges and universities from Colorado and the region will be available to meet with students in person, answer questions, and provide information about the services and degrees available at the individual schools.

All Transfer Week sessions are held in the South Lobby of South Classroom Building on the Auraria Campus. 

The CCD Transfer Success Center (TSC) is available to facilitate the transfer process for students prepared to pursue a degree at a 4-year college or university.  The goal is to increase the number of students completing an associate’s degree and obtaining a bachelor’s degree. For more information about Transfer Week or TSC, contact Theresa Gatewood, Theresa.gatewood@ccd.edu, 303.352.3317.
