AURORA, Colo. – If you’ve ever considered going to college for a course or two, or even full-time, the Community College of Aurora is hosting an event that may just influence your thinking.
CCA is hosting a Community Education Fair on Nov. 8 from 4-7 p.m. on the Lowry campus in the Todd Bergren Room. Members of the community can get to know the CCA faculty and learn about experiences they can have as a student.
Faculty and staff representatives will be on hand to discuss such issues as classes, scholarships, advising, student success initiatives, and transfer programs. An orientation session will take place for those who already have applied.
“It gives members of the community opportunities to access higher education right here in Aurora,” said Elena Sandoval-Lucero, Dean of Student Success. “They don’t have to leave Aurora to go to college. They can go to college right here.”

The public is invited to examine what’s available academically in its own backyard. The event is free.
