Earlier this week Gene Bilodeau, Vice President of the Craig CNCC Campus announced that he has accepted appointment as Executive Director for the University Center in Rapid City, South Dakota.
The University Center is a partnership among South Dakota’s six public universities: Black Hills State University, Dakota State University, Northern State University, South Dakota School of Mines & Technology, South Dakota State University and the University of South Dakota, working cooperatively to deliver accessible high-quality education in one convenient location. At the University Center, students can enroll in Certificate, Associate, Bachelor, Master or Doctoral programs.
“CNCC congratulates Gene in this outstanding professional opportunity,” said Russell George, President of CNCC. “This is an excellent step in Gene’s career and we wish him well. Gene has served CNCC since 1994 with distinction in a number of critical roles during his 17 years here. Gene was especially prominent throughout the successful planning, construction and operations of our fine new Craig Campus. He leaves a strong legacy and will always be seen as a treasured friend of CNCC.”
CNCC will host a reception honoring Gene’s service to CNCC and to the Craig and Moffat County community at a later date. The college will commence a nationwide search for a replacement to serve as Vice President of the Craig Campus as Gene leaves the position by this year’s end.
