CCD Confucius Institute hosting reception after World Trade Center Denver Conference

(Denver, CO) The World Trade Center Denver is hosting the second annual International Business & U student conference on March 13, 9:30 a.m.-6:00 p.m. in the Tivoli Center, room #320, 900 Auraria Parkway on the Auraria Campus. The day will be filled with information from international trade experts with presentations on doing business in the BRICS countries (Brazil, Russia, India, China, and South Africa) and how to build an international career. This conference is free to all students attending a partner university; presenters will be experts in international trade and business from the Rocky Mountain Region.  The Confucius Institute at the Community College of Denver is hosting a reception to close the International Business & U student conference. Members of the World Trade Center Denver are invited to attend to network with staff, faculty and students from the 13 partner universities and organizations involved with the conference. Asian-inspired appetizers will be provided, and a cash bar is available.

 Community College of Denver Confucius Institute (CCDCI) is a Chinese language and culture learning center, established in 2007 with the support of The Chinese Language Council International (Hanban), to promote Chinese language training and intercultural understanding. As China continues to expand its international influence, the interest in learning Chinese language and understanding its culture continues to grow. CCDCI, with the support from East China Normal University, is committed to helping this growth by developing standardization, certification, training and continuing education courses for future Chinese language and culture teachers in Colorado and the nation.
