Love’s Fire at Community College of Denver
(Denver, CO) Love’s Fire, a series of one act plays based on the sonnets of William Shakespeare is being presented March 18-21 by the Communication and Theater Department of Community College of Denver (CCD). The sonnets and plays in Love’s Fire are the seeds and fruit of an extraordinary project: seven sonnets by Shakespeare, newly envisioned for the stage in seven one act plays by seven brilliantly gifted contemporary playwrights.
The director of Love’s Fire is CCD Assistant Professor of Theatre j. nick dickert; assistant directors are Sarah Hall and Alexander Holdt. Love’s Fire runs March 18-21, 7:30 p.m., in the CCD Studio Theatre, King Center, on the Auraria Campus.
